How the system works

Five parts, one account list.

Most agencies selling demand generation are selling lead generation with a better word on the invoice. This is the version that changes where the money goes.

01

The account list

Built from your ICP and segmented by buying signal. In the UK, where a market can be a few thousand companies, the list is the strategy.

02

Demand creation on LinkedIn

Thought leader ads from your founders and senior team to the list, at enough frequency that each person sees several pieces of content before any ask.

03

Demand capture

Google Ads on branded, competitor and category terms, plus conversation ads and forms to the people who are already warm.

04

Signal-based outbound

Ad engagers, site visitors and profile viewers, filtered to your ICP and routed to your SDRs with the context attached.

05

Pipeline reporting

Influenced pipeline by account in your CRM, plus a self-reported source field, rather than cost per lead.

Demand generation in the UK

A UK market is small enough to warm all of it.

Why demand generation works differently for UK companies, and what it costs.

The UK market is finite, so you can cover it

A tightly defined UK B2B SaaS audience on LinkedIn is often 15,000 to 40,000 people, against 300,000 to 800,000 in the US. That is the UK's advantage for demand generation: on a realistic budget you can reach most of your market every month. The risk is the opposite of the US: frequency climbs fast, so the programme rotates creative and moves cheaper repeat impressions to Meta once LinkedIn has found the right people.

What it costs to reach UK buyers

In Kiin Labs Report No. 5, the median UK advertiser running single-country campaigns paid $51.37 per thousand impressions (79 accounts), $12.87 per landing page click and $160 per lead. The US equivalents are $91.30, $21.68 and $292. A UK programme gets roughly twice the reach per pound, which is why warming a whole list is affordable here.

Only a few per cent of a market is buying

Around two to four per cent of a market is in-market at any time. Lead generation competes for that slice. Demand generation builds preference in the rest, so that when they come into market they already know who you are. In a small UK market, losing the in-market slice to a competitor the buyer already knew is the most expensive mistake there is.

Who it is for

Sales-led UK B2B SaaS, where buying runs through demos and sales conversations rather than self-serve signup, with ACV above £5,000. London clients we can name include Lead Forensics and Sova Assessment. Our team is at Great Portland Street in London; the paid side is described on our paid media agency UK page and the LinkedIn side on LinkedIn advertising agency UK.

What it costs

$2,500 a month (about £1,900) for LinkedIn Ads alone, $4,500 (about £3,350) for LinkedIn and Google, $5,500 (about £4,100) for paid media across LinkedIn, Google, Meta and Reddit, and GTM outbound from $4,000 on top. Most UK demand generation agencies sit at £3,000 to £8,000 a month and do not publish rates. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platforms.

How long it takes

Demand capture converts within weeks, because it targets people already in market. The demand creation layer needs roughly six weeks before the list is warm enough for outbound reply rates to move. Plan on a full quarter before the two halves start compounding. The full system is on B2B demand generation agency.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first.

What does a B2B demand generation agency in the UK do?

It builds awareness and preference across a defined list of UK accounts before they are in market, captures the ones who are already searching, and turns engagement into outbound signals for the sales team. Kiin runs LinkedIn as the demand engine, Google for capture, Meta and Reddit for cheaper reach, and signal-based outbound, all off one list.

How much does a demand generation agency cost in the UK?

Most UK demand generation agencies charge £3,000 to £8,000 a month and do not publish it. Kiin publishes its fees: $2,500 a month (about £1,900) for LinkedIn Ads, $4,500 (about £3,350) for LinkedIn and Google, $5,500 (about £4,100) for full paid media, with GTM outbound from $4,000 on top. Ad spend is separate.

What is the difference between demand generation and lead generation?

Lead generation captures people already looking. Demand generation creates the awareness that makes them look. Around two to four per cent of a market is in-market at any time; lead generation competes for that slice while demand generation builds preference in the rest.

What minimum budget does demand generation need in the UK?

About $5,000 (about £3,700) a month in ad spend, separate from fees. Below that you cannot reach a meaningful list often enough to warm it, which leaves the outbound layer with nothing warm to work with.

How long until demand generation produces pipeline?

Demand capture converts within weeks. The demand creation layer needs about six weeks before the list is warm enough for outbound reply rates to move. Plan on a full quarter before the two halves compound.

Do you replace our SDR team?

No. The signal flows make an SDR team more effective by routing warm, ICP-filtered prospects with a reason to reach out. Where there is no SDR team, we automate the first touch and escalate replies.
