Three social channels

What B2B paid social is actually for.

Most B2B paid social is run as direct response: a cold audience, a demo ask and a cost per lead in a spreadsheet. It is the most reliable way to conclude that paid social does not work for B2B.

01

LinkedIn: the demand engine

Thought leader ads to a named account list, 180-day retargeting by engagement depth, conversation ads and lead gen forms underneath.

02

Meta: warm frequency at a fraction of the CPM

Meta has no reliable B2B targeting, so cold Meta wastes money. Against an audience LinkedIn has already qualified, it is the cheapest repeat impression you can buy.

03

Reddit: the technical buyer

Community and interest targeting for developer, security and data buyers who are in specific subreddits and not on LinkedIn every day.

04

How the three connect

LinkedIn creates and qualifies, the people who engage become Meta and Reddit audiences, and creative crosses over between them.

05

One pipeline number

Landing page clicks, not LinkedIn's clicks field, and influenced pipeline by account in your CRM, so the cheapest cost per lead does not win the budget by default.

Paid social in London

London is the densest B2B SaaS market in Europe.

What that changes about paid social, who we work with here, and what it costs.

Dense market, small audiences

London has more B2B SaaS companies than anywhere else in Europe, but any one company's buyers are still a small audience. A tightly defined UK audience on LinkedIn is often 15,000 to 40,000 people, and frequency climbs fast. That is the case for a three-channel programme: LinkedIn finds and qualifies the right people, and Meta and Reddit carry the repeat impressions more cheaply.

What it costs to reach UK buyers

In Kiin Labs Report No. 5, the median UK advertiser running single-country campaigns paid $51.37 per thousand impressions on LinkedIn (79 accounts) and $12.87 per landing page click, against $91.30 and $21.68 in the US. Meta reaches the same warmed audience for a fraction of that, which is why it belongs in the plan as a retargeting layer and not as a cold prospecting channel.

Measured on landing page clicks

LinkedIn's default clicks field counts likes, comments and profile views. On thought leader ads, 91% of reported clicks never reach a landing page. We report landing page clicks, form submissions rather than form opens, and influenced pipeline by account in your CRM.

Our London clients

Lead Forensics, in Mayfair, where we launched LinkedIn, Google and Meta together and are extending into outbound. Kirsty Dawe, their CMO: "It genuinely feels like they're part of the team." Sova Assessment, in Pimlico: "They take the time to really understand our business, audience, and our product." Both sell to multi-stakeholder buying committees over months, which is the shape of company paid social works for.

How we work with London companies

Remote-first, in person when it is useful. We are at 167-169 Great Portland Street, W1W, so quarterly planning in person is easy. Day to day is bi-weekly calls and a written monthly report. The wider channel picture is on our paid media agency London page and the LinkedIn detail on LinkedIn Ads agency London.

What it costs

$2,500 a month (about £1,900) for LinkedIn Ads, and $5,500 (about £4,100) for full paid media across LinkedIn, Google, Meta and Reddit, published. On media: below about $5,000 a month run one layer and make it capture; between $5,000 and $15,000, LinkedIn plus Meta works properly; above that, Reddit or LinkedIn CTV earn a place. More on the model on B2B paid social agency.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask first.

What does a B2B paid social agency in London do?

It runs the social side of a B2B paid programme, LinkedIn first with Meta and Reddit as supporting channels, as demand creation and warm frequency rather than as a direct-response lead source. Kiin does this for London B2B SaaS companies from Great Portland Street.

How much does a B2B paid social agency in London cost?

Kiin publishes its fees: $2,500 a month (about £1,900) for LinkedIn Ads and $5,500 (about £4,100) for full paid media across LinkedIn, Google, Meta and Reddit. Most London agencies quote on a call. Ad spend is separate and never marked up.

Should London B2B companies run Meta ads?

Yes, but almost never cold. Meta has no reliable job title or company targeting for B2B. Against an audience LinkedIn has already qualified, such as engagement exports, site visitors and CRM lists, it is the cheapest way to keep a warm audience seeing you.

Is LinkedIn or Meta better for B2B lead generation?

Neither alone. LinkedIn is dearer per click and cheaper per qualified lead; Meta is the reverse. Judged separately, Meta wins on cost per lead and LinkedIn wins on quality, which is why they should be judged together on pipeline.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. We are at 167-169 Great Portland Street, W1W. Most London clients meet us for quarterly planning, with bi-weekly calls in between.

How is paid social measured for pipeline?

Landing page clicks rather than LinkedIn's default click field, form submissions rather than form opens, influenced pipeline by account in the CRM, and a self-reported "how did you hear about us?" field on the demo form.
