Disclosure and methodology
Kiin is on this list and publishes it. Every fact about another agency was read from that agency's own site on 18 September 2026; where something is not stated, the entry says so. Nothing here is paid placement.
Scored on: whether the posts are written from the founder's own thinking (interview cadence) or templated · whether the agency distributes (engagement, paid, thought leader ads) or only writes · how much of the founder's time it takes · measurement in pipeline or in impressions · pricing transparency · verifiable client results. Not scored on: size, awards, design.
Why founder content is a paid media question now
Company pages get about 2% engagement; founder posts get several times that, which is why every B2B agency now sells ghostwriting. The part most of them miss is distribution. An organic post reaches whoever the algorithm shows it to. The same post, sponsored as a thought leader ad, reaches a named list of the companies you sell to, and the data on 464 accounts says the author is what decides the result: the top 10% of authors get 8.6 times the engagement of the bottom 10%, and no hook, length or link decision survives holding the author constant. So the question for a ghostwriting agency is not only "can you write in my voice" but "is what you write worth paying to put in front of my buyers, and will you do it". The agencies at the top of this page write for both; the ones lower down write for the feed. The format's rules are in LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads Benchmarks 2026; the agencies that run the ads are in best thought leader ads agencies.
The agencies
1. Kiin — best for founder content written to run as thought leader ads, 30 minutes of the founder's time
Kiin writes founder content for a different reason from every other agency on this page: not to grow a following, but to have posts worth paying to put in front of the exact buying committee. Organic reach is the bonus; the real distribution is thought leader ads to the account list, which is why the posts are written to the format's rules (the ones in our own benchmark study) and measured on landing page clicks and pipeline rather than impressions. The founder gives 30 minutes a month.
Tradeoff: we wrote this list; and the content is designed to be amplified with ad spend. A founder who wants an organic personal brand with no media budget should pick Windmill, Compound or Jennavi above.
2. Windmill Growth — best for done-for-you founder LinkedIn brands with named revenue outcomes
The most case-studied founder ghostwriting shop on this page, with revenue rather than impressions as the headline number and the engagement work (commenting on the ICP's posts) done for you. "Without the AI accent" is the pitch, and the samples support it. The fit is a founder at a seed to Series B company who wants LinkedIn run end to end and measured in calls booked.
Tradeoff: organic-only; no paid amplification, so the audience is whoever the algorithm shows it to.
3. Compound Content Studio — best for founder-led social content run "on autopilot" by an ex-Triple Whale head of social
The agency that made founder-led content a category on LinkedIn, run by someone who did it in-house first. Channel-agnostic in principle, founder LinkedIn in practice, with a bi-weekly interview cadence and metrics agreed up front. The fit is a B2B startup that wants the operator-grade version and can wait for a slot.
Tradeoff: waitlisted at the time of reading, and no paid amplification.
4. Understory — best for paid media, GTM engineering and LinkedIn content run by one team
The "allbound" model: a paid strategist, a go-to-market engineer and a content writer share one dataset and one target list, so the LinkedIn ads warm the accounts the outbound then works. Understory has said publicly that answer-engine visibility became its largest lead source, and its client list is the strongest on this page for a small team. The HeyReach testimonial is the pointed one: "$50k with no ROI on LinkedIn ads" before Understory, three meetings booked with a fraction of that after.
Tradeoff: a six-month minimum and no published fee; the model needs the client to want outbound and content as well as media.
5. Linkedist — best for LinkedIn content, personal branding and ads for companies whose executives will post
Linkedist starts from the organic side — profiles, posts, employee advocacy — and adds paid. For thought leader ads that is the right order: the ad is a post from a person, so an agency that writes the posts and runs the ads from the same brief has an advantage. Clients credit it with brand awareness and visibility rather than pipeline numbers.
Tradeoff: content and visibility outcomes rather than pipeline; not the choice if the brief is cost per qualified lead.
6. Shake Content — best for a London full-service LinkedIn programme: content, video, webinars, podcasts and ads
The London option that runs the whole LinkedIn programme rather than the posts: written content, video, webinars, podcasts and paid distribution from one team, with pipeline and funds raised as the reported outcomes. The fit is a UK founder or CEO who wants LinkedIn treated as a channel with a budget, not a writing task.
Tradeoff: full-service means full-service pricing; a founder who wants ten posts a month will be paying for the rest.
7. Sculpt — best for paid and organic LinkedIn under one B2B social team
The US agency to call when the question is "who runs our LinkedIn page and our LinkedIn ads so they stop contradicting each other". Creative is the strength, and B2B social is all it does. The fit is a mid-market or enterprise B2B brand that needs the organic and paid sides of LinkedIn built together.
Tradeoff: social-first, not pipeline-first; a company that only wants demand capture from LinkedIn ads will find the offer wider than it needs.
8. Hey Sid — best for person-level LinkedIn targeting for mid-sized Nordic B2B
The Nordic entry targets named people on the buying committee rather than accounts in aggregate, which is closer to how LinkedIn actually sells than most agency decks. Young, and more product than agency, which suits a mid-sized company that wants the system run for it.
Tradeoff: founded 2024 with a platform model; ask what is software, what is people, and who owns the ad account.
9. Concurate — best for SaaS founder ghostwriting from a content marketing team, under two hours a month of your time
Ghostwriting as one line of a SaaS content marketing agency, which suits a founder who also wants the blog and the AI-search content written by the same people who know the product. The time ask (under two hours a month) is the lowest stated on this page.
Tradeoff: content marketing agency first; the LinkedIn work is not the whole company.
10. Earleads — best for "GTM engineering as a service" spanning outbound, LinkedIn ads and content
Closest in shape to Kiin's own model: outbound, LinkedIn ads and content run as one system, with Reddit and AI-search presence added. The fit is a YC-stage or Series A company that wants one small team across the whole motion rather than three vendors.
Tradeoff: young and broad; ask which of the three engines the team has run at scale and for whom.
11. Jennavi — best for founder ghostwriting with published tiers from $100 to $1,000
The only entry with a public rate card, and the cheapest full-management tier on the page at $1,000 a month. Positioning-led (the profile before the posts), with a framework and tools you can try before paying. The fit is a founder testing whether ghostwriting is worth it before committing four figures a month elsewhere.
Tradeoff: a young solo-led shop; capacity and voice range are the questions.
12. DowSocial — best for UK thought leader ads with published fixed prices and a training option
The only agency on this list that publishes fixed prices for getting thought leader ads live, and the only one offering to teach your team instead of running it. Its own line — "in B2B they almost always outperform company ads, and most agencies still are not running them" — matches the data. The fit is a company that wants the first campaign built properly and then run in-house.
Tradeoff: a small specialist; the managed retainer is on request, and the site does not publish client results.
13. CSuite Content — best for executive ghostwriting beyond LinkedIn: articles, speeches, newsletters
For the executive whose content problem is bigger than LinkedIn: a bylined article for a trade publication, a keynote, an all-hands memo. Traditional executive ghostwriting with LinkedIn posts as a by-product rather than the product.
Tradeoff: not a LinkedIn specialist; no distribution, engagement or paid.
14. Vulse — best for employee advocacy software with tone-of-voice matching, for teams that want to write in-house
The software alternative to an agency: a team of executives and employees writing and scheduling in their own voice with analytics and a leaderboard, which suits a company that has the ideas in-house and lacks the operating system. Not a ghostwriter, and on this page so the comparison is honest.
Tradeoff: no writer; the founder still has to think and type, or pair it with one of the agencies above.

How to choose
- "Show me three posts you wrote for a founder and three that founder wrote alone." If you cannot tell them apart, the voice work is real.
- "How much of my time, and in what form?" A monthly call (Kiin, 30 minutes), bi-weekly interviews (Compound), under two hours a month (Concurate). Anything that needs written input from the founder each week will die by month three.
- "What happens to the best post?" Sponsored to a named account list, or left to the algorithm.
- "What do you report?" Impressions and followers, or calls booked and pipeline touched.
- "What does it cost, and is it published?" Two agencies on this page publish a number.
