The biggest spenders pay four times as much. That is mix, not the auction.
Why bigger budgets pay more
Large accounts run more US targeting, more demo asks, more uploaded lists and smaller pools. None of the paired comparisons inside one account show a size effect in the auction. "You cannot do lead gen under £3k a month" is wrong for content.
What to do
For demo, the constraint is the daily budget, not the monthly one: below $100 a day, a demo campaign often gets nothing in a month. For content, a small budget is fine.
Where the number comes from
Kiin Labs Report No. 3, table 9. LinkedIn Ads accounts connected to Kiin Intelligence via the LinkedIn Marketing API, 8 September 2025 to 7 September 2026, converted to USD, LinkedIn Audience Network excluded. Every figure is a median across advertiser accounts, and no cell with fewer than seven accounts is published.
